Here’s a List of the Youngest Olympic Athletes To Make You Feel Inadequate

1. Abby Winterberger (15) - A freeskier from California, Abby is the 2026 Winter Olympic’s youngest athlete. She began skiing at the age of 2 and is the only club-level freeski athlete to qualify for the 2026 Olympics.
Things you were doing at 15: Having braces, running a Harry Potter meme account, getting really into cosplay, developing a K-Pop obsession, failing your driving permit test, having a side part, filling your eyebrows in with sharpie.
2. Lily Dhawornvej (16) - Known for her dynamic style and fearlessness, Lily is a rising star in American snowboarding specializing in slopestyle and big air.
Things you were doing at 16: Failing your drivers test, wearing bow ties to school, wearing leggings to school, wearing shorts in the middle of winter, keeping a scrunchy around your wrist.
3. Ollie Martin (17) - A Colorado native, Ollie became the youngest rider to ever land a 2160 during early season training, and he secured his first World Cup podium victory in 2025. He won fourth place in the big air event…with a broken arm.
Things you were doing at 17: Being depressed. Being gay. Cutting your own bangs in the bathroom. Having a fuck ass bob (derogatory).
4. Rim Jongun (18) - A short track speedskater from South Korea, Rim Jongun is the 2024 and 2025 Junior World Champion, and he won a bronze medal in men’s short track in Milan.
Things you were doing at 18: Getting rejected from your dream college (sucks to BU), falling madly in love with your new roommate’s situationship and then making it everyone else’s problem, throwing up on Pratt Street.
5. Macklin Celebrini (19) - You already know.
Things you were doing at 19: Breaking up with your freshman year friend group, becoming addicted to caffeine, smoking on the esplanade, falling madly in love with your TF and then making it everyone else’s problem, throwing up on Pratt Street.
6. Nika Prevc (20) - One of the most successful ski jumpers of all time, the Slovakian Nika Prevc won gold in mixed team ski jumping and silver in women's normal hill individual.
Things you were doing when you were 20: Choosing to willingly go to Salem on Halloween, missing your dog, drinking Pink Whitney, dyeing your hair red, dating your ex, getting turned away from the club because your fake sucked.
7. Hallie Clarke (21) - Hallie, an Ontario native, has already made history. She won gold at the 2024 World Championships in Winterberg, Germany, becoming the first athlete ever to hold the Junior and Senior World titles at the same time.
Things you were doing when you were 21: Living off of Annie’s mac and cheese, staying with your ex for a month while knowing that they were actively cheating on you, ordering a rose toy from Shein, being drunk, throwing up outside of Game On.
8. Eileen Gu (22) - Eileen Gu competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing where she became the first freestyle skier to win THREE MEDALS at a single Games. This year, she took silver in women’s slopestyle.
Things you were doing when you were 22: Being depressed, being old, being washed, worrying about the future, stealing glasses from bars, really considering buying Linkedin premium.
